This four years course is perfect for those returning to education who may not have the correct qualifications. If you’ve only studied up to GCSE Level but have always dreamed of working in business management, there’s nothing stopping you. We pride ourselves on accepting applicants who have previously ruled out a degree based on their past grades. However, if you have A levels or equivalent qualification of Level 3, in that case, you will study three years to achieve your degree
In your first year of foundation, you’ll complete four foundation modules designed to prepare you for the next three years, covering study skills and an introduction to business management.
After this, you will learn the concepts and practice of global business management alongside how to meet your own objectives, such as starting a business. We’ll help you achieve this by teaching real-life business situations and case study analysis, as well as hosting discussions with guest speakers. Other modules include digital marketing, corporate risk management and sustainability in business.
Throughout your studies, you’ll be taught via three methods: lectures, workshops and seminars. The exact format will depend on the modules studied, but you can expect a variety of all three.
Assessments come in a mix of formats, also depending on your chosen options. These include essays, portfolios, exams, reports, group presentation and case studies.
Assessments play a big part in your degree – they are key indicators in measuring your own success, as well as showing your progress to your tutors. If your grades are not as expected, we’ll offer the correct support to ensure improvement.
We constantly monitor assessment results and feedback to make sure our teaching is effective. We adapt our teaching and learning methods to suit our students, offering you high quality and stimulating educational experience.
Five GCSEs at Grade C/4 (or equivalent), including the English Language. EU and International equivalent qualifications may also be accepted.
If you do not meet these entry requirements, you can take our assessments and attend an interview. If you pass, you can be admitted to the course.
